Problem

Measuring speed on a local network often ends in tools that are too general, hard to compare or tied to external services. To diagnose a network, compare devices or repeat a test, the experience needs clear and reproducible results.

Solution

LandSpeed groups tools and protocol pieces for local network performance measurement. The current direction points to direct tests between devices, no mandatory account, no mandatory cloud and a shared protocol for comparable results.

Process

• Separation between the public website, client apps and protocol pieces.
• Exploration of gard as a shared CLI/protocol; the final name remains to confirm against the local garc repo.
• Pending review of the Tórtola/Triuque map because the initial story and local documents do not match yet.

Result

LandSpeed is presented as a visible line of tools for local network measurement. Public content stays simple until more product details are confirmed.
